What is All3Media's response?
"The role of Production Management is critical to the success of All3Media and the companies in the Group. We have received and read the report ‘Production is Broken’ and believe that it raises a number of important issues that need to be discussed and addressed by all parties involved in the production of TV programmes.
PACT represents the independent production community in collective negotiations and brings sector expertise and experience to working groups that advise Council and the negotiating teams. As Pact has stressed, it is not possible to engage with an unknown party and for it to follow up and respond to the report, it now needs the representatives from the Production Management community to identify themselves and engage in discussions. "

We respect All3Media’s choice to defer to their trade body Pact, and hope they will encourage Pact to give the issues raised by “The Report”, due attention.
We will review progress achieved from industry approaches to Pact in the months ahead, and will endeavour to update member production companies, if progress has stalled, to encourage renewed focus.
